1st 3D printed installation at Kala Ghoda 2015

Over 5.5 feet 3d printed structure, over 720 hours on Two Flash Forge Pro 3d printers, was cut into 87 parts and joined. Completeion time : 1 month.
Since the parts are 3d printed we can dictate the mass and weight of each part ( yeah take that Higgs Boson we do this in 3d printing wink emoticon ) which was reduced gradually with height ensuring the structure is in balance with least amount of material and good strength.

The individal pieces are delicate but as a whole are completely strong and rigid.

Designed by Keyur Mistry and Tejas Sidnal and 3D printed by Samarth Shah Melting Mints. AA Visiting School Mumbai
